The Howard Co. Cubs is intended to provide an advanced, and competitive environment for players to improve both physical and mental attributes of their game of baseball through practices, tournaments, and technical coaching and training sessions. Players will learn the value of a positive attitude, dedication, hard work, sportsmanship, comradery, and working together as a team to achieve their goals. Parents and players are expected to make practice and tournaments a priority. Players, coaches, parents, and volunteers are expected to have good attitudes and behave in a calm, and respectful manner at all times towards other players, coaches, parents, umpires, and tournament facility staff. 

Our Teams

Thanks for taking the time to check out the Howard County Cubs.  We are a non-for-profit travel baseball organization that was founded in August of 2018.  Our goal was to start local travel teams that also encompassed the importance of players participating in their local baseball league.  Our early success as an organization was noticed throughout the local baseball community and future growth was on the horizon. What started with 3 teams and just over 30 players grew exponentially with over 140 players and teams ranging from 8U to 17U in just 3 short years.

The mission of the Howard County Cubs Baseball Organization is to develop local youth baseball players through positive leadership while instilling good sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity and respect for the game through participating at a higher level of baseball. Our intentions are to provide an advanced and competitive environment for players to improve both physical and mental attributes in the sport of baseball through practices, tournaments, technical coaching, and training sessions.  Our players will learn the value of a positive attitude, dedication, hard work, camaraderie, and working together as a team to achieve their goals as players and will ultimately make them more successful as they grow older in life.
